What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the process of purposely bringing your attention to experience occuring in the present moment without judgement and is developed through the practice of meditation and other breathing exercises to bring calm and relaxation to your mind and body.

S.T.O.P

Stop what you're doing, put things down for a minute.

Take a few deep breaths. Concentrate on each breath you take. You can even say to yourself "in and out" as you're breathing.


Observe your experience just as it is - including thoughts, feelings and emotions.

Proceed with something that will support you in the moment" talk to a friend, have a cup of tea, observe nature.

  • Natural awareness, which comes from not identifying with the experience

Headpsace is a meditation app which includes meditation walkthroughs for various scenarios including stress, anger, focus etc.

Calm is a meditation app which includes body scanning, sleep support and a number of meditation walkthroughs.

Reflectly is a mindfulness journal which allows you to reflect on your day through a series of questions and thoughts.
